I rebuilt my Sears garage door opener, aligned the chain and limit switch, but the trolley will only move one foot in each direction, even after adjustment. The limit switch seems to be moving properly, but will not travel but a short distance. What’s next?

How was it working before you rebuilt it?

I am not familiar with Sears Garage Door Openers, do you have the Technical Manual and Wiring diagrams?

Thank you for your reply. The gears were stripped out so bad in was inoperative. The Sears is the same as the Lift-master and Chamberlain. I figured out how to finish alignment: I had to turn the force controls all the way up to get the trolley going all the way. I then reset them and was good to go!
