Sears Local Ad section/portal gone?

Are you guys still able to get to your local stores Local Deals section?

Mines went away a couple of weeks ago. I haven't tried all the California ZIP's but all the ones around my area are gone.

Sigh, too bad, coupons stacked on most of those local store deals.

Yes I tried looking yesterday and the page was reconfigured but was unable to open the local deals link. Even Kmart had the same issue. Have not tried any other area though.

Always a good place to spend the free points that gave out.

looking at my local store, all of the prices are the same as online so I am not sure that they are actively running it like they did before.

Yeah, I'm wondering if they're not trying to merge the local prices onto the main site. If you see my post in that other thread, I'm looking to buy a Gladiator workbench. If I go to Sears.com and search for that, there is a tab to select "In Store: **". When I change stores, the price for the same item will vary. My local store has it for $449.99, while another nearby store has it for $369.94. The only thing now is that both prices are reflecting the hot buy status, when it didn't usually do that through the old local ad site.

That works wonderfully! I thought sears ditched it because people were actually finding sales and buying that stuff!

I've bought $69 worth of stuff from sears this year (3lb all metal drilling hammer, large vice grip c clamps, screwdriver as filler, magnetic level, 14MM socket as filler, 1inch HSS countersink).

I've payed a little over $11 for all of it.

I have another $15 off $15 to spend too!

I can't access the local ad any more either,there used to be almost 1000 tool items in each store's local ad and the pricing was different in each store,now you will not have any idea what is on sale at a good price without going to the store and looking at each item. sad

Yes, sad. I scored a lot of great deals on the localad, stacked with surprise points and coupon codes.

It seems like a lot of deals from Sears and ShopYourWay have dried up in 2016. I haven't scored a deal since before the holidays of 2015.

Yes, Sears is getting to the last phase before they close their doors forever. Once all the property is liquidated, and the money given to that CEO who loaned them a huge sum of money with it as collateral, they'll be sold off to the vultures and done. Sad to see one of the oldest companies in America fall victim to a predatory system that chops up companies for profit, laying off thousands in the process. The news will say it couldn't keep up with the times, but theres alot more going on than just that.

Yeah. Seems that all you need is the zip code changed as kball said. Works for my store and even typed in some random words for city/state.

There's a difference between being able to view local prices online, and the stores offering local prices.

I stopped by a Kmart store the other day, and I can confirm that they still have local ad pricing. It just now ***** that we can't see these sale prices BEFORE visiting a store.

Searched on this as well the other night (I was bored a bit).

Seems the reps keep reading the party script at a certain point. They also don't have a clue how the website works (frontline people with limited training) or really what is being asked (local prices not just on clearance, which also doesn't properly show up).

It's some information though.
