Wiggum, just an FYI, make sure you look into the flat rate boxes. No weight limit! (even if you ship the sockets/wrenches in a flat rate box and the plastic case in a different sized one, it's still usually cheaper!)

Plan B: Go to local Sears store and order 43 pc 12 pt. combination, 28 pc 6 pt combination, 24 pc boxend, and 16 pc ratcheting wrench sets...

My wife ordered and paid for all 111 wrenches!!!

Merry Christmas to me!!!

I don't know why she puts up with me, but I'm glad she does!!!

All the wrench sets were on sale, so, overall it is the best price I've ever gotten...

Same problem with a mechanics set. They confirmed my order. Item never shipped. They call the store and claim they can't get a tracking number. I'm assuming because it doesn't exist. Appears now they are completely sold out. Their inventory system is junk and so is their customer service!

Now to request a refund...this will probably be a PITA!

Is it possible to call and place an order over the phone?

- first call to confirm they have it
- ask to order it over the phone. they'll give you the number of online ordering I think
- after the order is placed, call to see if they got it. they might say no it takes a little while
- call back a few minutes later, keep doing so till they say they got your order
- ask them when it will be shipped and if they can give you a tracking number
- call again and see if they have the tracking number for you

Basically, the idea is to be such a pain the the **** that it's less work for them to put put it in a cardboard box and ship it than it is to deal with you.
