We use something almost identical to these at work and they have held up very well. Ours came from Home Depot and I think we paid around $55 each for them a few years ago. They are surprisingly sturdy.

these were just on sale at Canadian tire up here for about 68 bucks...roughly the same cost after the exchange on the dollar, give or take.

Costco has the same everday price here in Ottawa approx 80 bucks.

I'm liking the idea that they hold big weight and are nicely finished, but still would like to get some cabinets to hide all my junk in my new garage.

Still may buy some.

They are nice quality shelves. I bought 10 of them yesterday for my shop. They have free shipping on purchases over $199 and 20% off tool/storage purchases so you can get them to $32 with free shipping.

I just bought the same thing from home depot a couple months back for $65 :wtf:

and had a hell of a time getting them home in the trunk of my honda!

I think I'm gonna buy 5 and have them shipped to my door for free
Thanks for sharing this deal

edit:
math > me
I just bought 6 cause the total went down to $179 after the 10% disc from spending $199

Just ordered 3 hoping to attach them to each other and hang peg board on the ends for strength. 6-10 days away . That'll give me time to clear a spot.

i just installed one of them. overall it feels sterdy. the short arms were bent, but overall 35$ was worth it. sadly my 20x20 with 2 is now a little more tighter then i like it. i saw the store model and mines was a lot firmer then theirs. if you hammer in those studs it can be really firm but it is a thin metal frame, i have my 2 17" wheels on the 2nd from the top shelf right now.

the box fits easily in my back seat. i dont know about trunk tho. i could easily take about 6-8 home in my back seat of my sedan.

For the sale price they probably aren't a bad deal if you are willing to work with them a little to get everything to fit together well. I bought two of them a few months ago and they aren't near the quality of the Gorilla Rack brand shelves (at least the ones I have). They are made from lighter gauge steel and the legs didn't fit together well on mine out of the box. I had to work with them quite a while to get the leg sections to line up with each other when they were joined together with the middle shelf supports.

I loathe those shelves that don't have single vertical uprights on each side. For the sake of a single package (instead of a separate box with the 6' uprights) you get far less strength and a real PITA assembly experience.

I bought 3 and put them together yesterday, yep there cheap and some day I may have to weld the uppers and lower uprights together (if they'll take the heat :lol_hitti)
they can be seen in my "nonhog garage " in the gallery section.
