Not a hot deal as far as price, but quality.

If you want some made in USA you better buy quick. My store is getting new stock of China made ****. Ugh

Square and round shovels. USA ones are solid, China ones I stepped on in store are smaller and bend.

I know all the small garden tools are China I guess these are the last to go.

If it weren't for the warranty I'd quit buying craftsman stuff. I still don't want to deal with exchanges though.

I've bought a few garden tools from Ames that were made in eastern block countries. They were forged and decent.

If you want heavy duty 100% U.S. made, check out Bully Tools.
I ordered an ice chopper from Harry Epstein and it was solid. Much more substantial than something from the big box places.

That is great, broke a handle on one and need to take it in for warranty, hope they still have a US version. They are the best fiberglass handle shovel I have ever seen and the only I have seen with a warranty.

A few years back, the wood handle broke on my U.S. made Sears shovel and brought it back to the Sears hardware store. Since it was out of stock at that time, they replaced it with the fiberglass handle one, which I still have. :)

Finally took mine in, they had 1 USA made on the wall, exchange went fine just took a while, I did have my original receipt. Bad news is I got home and went to use it and found the tip to be worn down, like someone took a grinder to it, and the head angle isn't the same as my other two so something happened to the shovel. I'll have to wait and see if any more show up US made or not. I'd just knock the blunt tip off with a grinder but with the whole head being tweaked I believe it will be a lemon, kind think it half fell off of something and was drug around during shipping.
