Well is it me or did we not get the points again this month. I'm starting to think this is more a hassle than it's worth.

ditto. got email but points not there, even i went all the way to check out screen to make sure i can see surprise points which these are ... they are sending the email "you got points" and actually depositing those points out of order - but this part about sears isnt surprising

Got my email just after 9am, haven't shown up though.

The reason I posted is I have the email but no points so I guess I'm not alone. Sears seems to screw this up every month. It's either points and no email or it's email and no points. This is really getting old.:lol_hitti

Relax , it's only been a few hours. Mine already showed up.
I got the email, but no points. The last time everything worked as described was back on August 1st. July and September showed after a while (9/12 last month :eyecrazy:), but required several complaints.

From the offer:
"Members will receive points the first day of every month and will be notified by email that their points are now available for use."

This is a part of Sears problem. Their website is flawed. I ordered a dining room set for my mom off their website, and it wouldn't go through. Finally had to end up calling them; that took 15 minutes. And I never did get my ShowYourWay points on it. In the actual stores, they are using 1970's cash registers that take forever to ring up purchases. They need to get modern POS systems.

If they'd stick to old school ways when it comes to product planning (like producing hand tools in North America) while at the same redoing the point of sale systems and website stuff, they might survive. Instead they are bassackwards -- not being up on modern e-commerce but shipping production to China.

Relax....the points are coming from PRC. Goods from PRC used to take 30 days by ship in the old days

Hey everyone, long time lurker here.

FYI I called them yesterday about this. I had the specific date and order number I placed for the qualifying purchase. I also explained that I had not received my $10 in points since April. Low and behold they gave me a $60 credit. I was polite and professional yet stern and direct. I spoke with a supervisor by the name of Bridget.

Sears should have been the Amazon. They did not keep up with time and technology as this is their downfall. when I go there which is couple times a week looking for clearance tools and don't see more then 3 or 4 senior citizens shopping there. Dont know how long they will survive. This s another American Icon on life support. SAD

These tool of the month points can only be used on tools from sears correct? I can't use the points for a few bags of water softener salt could I? I'm about to make a $199 purchase and wanted to see if it'd be worth buying the item now vs when it's on sale.

Well I bought the Dewalt 204pc Mechanic tool set(on sale now) and a craftsman drill guide to make it to the $199 requirement. We'll see how my luck is with getting tool of the month money coming up.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but they require a purchase of $199+ to be all Craftsman items, so the Dewalt set won't work.

I got my points and they show in Surprise Points Section, however they will not let me use them at checkout. Tried online and they don't show at checkout and today I tried to use them at the store but it took them off my reg points. (purchase did qualify) So I guess I will have to make a call tomorrow again.

On the tool of the month page it does say craftsman. But on the item page of the dewalt tool set it shows it as a special offer. And there it says from Sears. So I'm unsure which one is correct.

"Spend $199 in tools from Sears and enroll in the Tool of the Month - www.sears.com/toolofthemonth hide details
As a member of the Craftsman Club Tool of the Month Program, you'll receive $10 in points (10,000 points) each month to redeem on tool purchases, giving you a yearly total of $120 in points (or 120,000 points). Spend more than $199 in tools to activate your Tool of the Month Membership today and start earning the points you deserve! Go to www.sears.com/toolofthemonth for more details and to get started!

Can't you just return your purchase then re-purchase?????? I honestly thought you had ten days to do so, but they might have changed it???
