Ad just says it's a Sears. Those door handles look like Beach. Wonder if they ever supplied Sears Canada?

I do remember there was a Canadian company making copies of the old red and gray Waterloo boxes just for Canada.

Yes that is a Beach made box. There was a top box that came up on a Facebook forum with a front panel, heavy duty road box style. I dug around in catalogs only to realize it was a Beach made in Canada, once the drawer layout was revealed it was an obvious🤦‍♂️ moment for me and explained why I couldn't find it in the catalogs.

Beach made toolboxes for Sears in Canada and labeled them Craftsman. We didn't get the Grey-Red boxes up here. They changed the handles from the aluminum pull handle to a full width handle on every drawer and went with a black drawer in a red cabinet. I have a Craftsman 12 drawer top and bottom set that other than handles and color are identical to the Beach.

I'm certainly not gonna argue with you, but I swear there was a red and gray on here at least once that iirc was stamped Canada on back and badged Craftsman.

Out of curiosity, is there any online source for the Canadian Sears tool catalogs? Would be cool to see all the variations.

I would be interested to know if the drawers extend fully. That is my one beef with Craftsman boxes made by Waterloo. The old Rem Lines were nice.

Ahh, but actually Beach DID make red and gray boxes branded Craftsman. I suspect they might even be harder to find than the red/black combination.

Yup, Beach made them for Sears, Proto, Herbrand,Mac & others.
If they made some for a certain company that doesn't mean they made them ALL.
Many like to mix it up & not be exclusive to one supplier.
Companies like Sears change suppliers all the time.
Here is a Canadian Beach/Stanley catalog from about 1990

One possibility, after Stanley bought Beach. Beach started badging/distributing boxes that they did not make.
