Can any of you guys tell me if the Craftsman lifetime warrenty extends to air tools?

I found an old 1/2" drive impact wrench 756.18882 at a yard sale for five bucks over the weekend. Everything seems to work ok except the sockets won't stay on the anvil.

Sears sells a retaining ring for about two dollars, but I was thinking why repair it if I could exchange it for new. Kind of figure I'm dreaming here just need someone else to tell me so.

nope, in fact when i exchanged my screwdrivers last week a guy was trying to get his air ratchet serviced under warranty and the associate said it wasn't under warranty any longer... I think the retaining clip fix is the way to go :)

Craftsman, Ingersoll Rand, AirCat, etc... all give the same warranty - one year with proof of purchase. :)

Gentleman, thanks for the answer. I sorta figured that would be the case. So retaining ring will be the way to go and still have a good impact cheap.
