Im building a 42x72 with 12 foot walls. I would like to know how wide can I make the second level? Will mainly be used for storage. I do want to make a room for my die cast collection and such though. Thank you. Truss opening

This is probably depend on who builds your trusses and what they are capable of. Your best bet would be to contact a truss manufacturer.
