I had the first post of my wood shop... thanks for all the nice compliments, guys.
This is the second of my shops at our homestead. It's called the "Mechanical Shop" It lives in a large 1-car garage on the opposite side of the breezeway. My third shop (soon to be posted) is the "Automotive Shop", which is in a 3 car garage across the driveway.
In here, I generally do work on my Spyder, ATV or other mechanical items. Or car sub-assemblies like brake calipers, electrical components, etc. If the weather's nice, I work out in the breezeway. This shop is insulated and a small space heater keeps it just right on all but the coldest of the Oklahoma days. Other days it's nice to have the insulated overhead door open for a view of the countryside.
It also houses the large air compressor that feeds both shops via copper lines. There is also a 220VAC drop, conduit and (4) 8' long ceiling fixtures for light.
