How the garage currently sits. Will show some past and current projects when I get the pictures resized.

S-h-h-h-h...

If you have to ask what's in his garage, he may nee to "silence" you... If you can't ask Boris... ask Doris - but it may be better if you don't... --grins-- (I keep thinking Aston Martins with Machine-gun taillights and a trunk-monkey operated rocket launcher and smoke screen device...)

Welcome to the "nut"house, squirrel.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you how this one turned out. Someone made me a good offer and I let this one go before the final finish.

Started life as a 1974 Buick Apollo and became a 74 GTO custom

Modification included Brakes from a 02 ss Camaro. Engine,Trans, wiring harness , console and dash from a 98 Trans Am. Wheels, front and rear seat for a 06 GTO. Lots of custom body mods.

Just finished putting a roll bar and window retainers in the Ghia and built a replacement lower motor mount for a 428CJ Fairlane.

And something a little different. All traditional B&W photography hand printed and hand made custom framing. Used to have a custom picture framing/art shop and do shows.

Gotta love new equipment. I had one of the JD2's when they first came out. The new one is definitely a step up. Using the SWAG Hydraulic adapter for now. I'll get the JD2 one later.

Thanks, I try to. Some projects get away but those are usually the ones I wouldn't of wanted anyway. The Dodge in the picture is one I quoted after two other shops had done some work and started playing games. I quoted something like $43K in parts and labor to finish it. He said no and took it to another shop. He's spent well over $100k ,it's still not finished and has been stalled out for at least 2 years. Best in the end, I think it would have ended our friendship anyway.

Wow. Cool projects. I like the somewhat obscure nature of some of them. Most car guys haven't even heard of a Buick Apollo. Can't wait to see more!

Well it been way to long since I kept up here. Been a really crappy couple of years with my wife health. Going to try and post at least once a month, if not once a week. Did a build on the Tacoma and the OBS shop truck. Only have a few things left on those. Started a customer project on a Jaguar XK120 kit car. Will upload some process pics this weekend on all of them

Finished up the current round on mechanical improvements on the shop truck and grabbed a good deal on a set or new rims for it.

IMG_1860.JPGIMG_1861.JPGIMG_1862.JPG

Got the carb and fuel pump in for the XK120 project, as well as started to tear into the wiring. Whoever wired it actually extended wires with cut offs from the harness. If you have ever worked with a universal kit they are marked all the way down the wire. It had antenna wire spliced into ground wires and ground wires spliced into power wires. Its going to be fun.
