securing MC cable

When using MC, do I have to secure the cable within 12" of a box like when using NM? If so, what would I use?

MC with four or fewer conductors no larger than #10 needs to be secured within 12" of every box, cabinet, fitting or other cable termination. The MC also needs to be supported at intervals not exceeding 6'.

You can use a fancy MC cable strap like this.

For metal studs, use Colorado Jims or one hole straps.

For wood studs, use Colorado Jims or #125 staples.
