Put some at my place as a temp solution till I could get a real system. Not impressed but they did do the intended purpose at the time, which was give me a simple quick way to get visibility to our remote place.

The motion sensing is hit or miss. It's off of a motion sensor, so if the movement is not close to the camera, it doesn't pick it up. Remote viewing is possible, but you can't command record. Batteries don't last in cold (i.e. sub 20s)

Thanks for this feedback... almost exactly the same thing we are planning for. We have a remote location we need to check in on to determine if we need to call someone local to it to look closer. Shouldnt need the system for more than a year and just need something quick and easy.

I've installed 3 of the Amcrest 4k POE cameras 2 bullets and one dome. Running Blue Iris on an older HP DL380G6 Server with a netgear POE switch. Install is easy. Picture quality is amazing. Blue Iris is easy to set up and has a ton of customization available.
