Security Spikes for gate

Does anyone know of a good source for metal spikes to go on top of large metal gate and some roofline walls. Can make one, but if something is out there already?

Do you have deer jumping the gate or fence at any time? (I know, odd question) If so, rethink the spikes. A deer impaled on your fence is a really, really bad PR situation. A burgler, not so much....

Do a search for "security spikes for top of fence...." There are so many hits and products your eyes will glaze over....

I got decorative tops from a metal place in Arizona. Cheapest cost I found. Suppose you can sharpen lol. Cast iron as well as others. If only a few needed there are on line steel places that ship

I have Razor wire installation for protection. It has a low-cost installation charge and easy to install.

Razor wire is illegal in some areas for home use. Good for protection but better check first with authorities.

Here's a fence in rural South Africa a few years ago. The pickets were made of angle iron welded onto rails. The spikey tops looked fairly imposing.

You can see where a few simple cuts and bends turned the angle iron into something very different. There's probably some punch press turning these out by the thousands.

The advise about deer is no joke. We have lots or whitetails around and there's a house near by with a plain jane black metal fence with decorative fleur de lis across the top edge and they had a chronic problem with deer getting impaled/hung up on the fence. I see now they have 2x4's across it.. looks classy.

In some countries, people use broken glass on top of brick wall.
