Most all led fixtures have some sort of delay is what I have found out. Now that been said. If you have a multi meter just so you know see what the voltage is at the switch the moment you turn them on. I have had the leds take longer to turn on when the voltage is 110 volts or less at startup. This is a real issue with the “China” imported brands. Also I have had issues when a motor load like a drill, or vacuum is on the same circuit causing a “flickering” effect while operating.
* Thanks very much. I really do not know any running off 110 volts. As far as I know, 120 volts is the benchmark. However, the synopsis you present makes sense. In terms of the flickering you make mention, as running other loads on the same circuit has not ever been an issue.
* The driver is the key culprit as one of the members mentioned earlier. Not really a big deal. The lights are guaranteed for seven (7) years at 50,000 hours. If they last, the quirk (Delay) is irrelevant. Everything is made in China, so there is nothing new. I looked at all the led shop lights and decided upon the Sunco over Antlux. Sunco provided 5000k whereas the Antlux provides only 4000k in their line of shop lights. I prefer the 5000k in the garage over 4000k. Either or would suffice but again, prefer the 5000k.
