pretty simple, but effective idea. probably a bear to calibrate. unfortunately, w/o a new 11/32" rod this one is going nowhere.

Now that you have it apart I am sure you will clean and oil the parts. How will you adjust the inch pounds back to factory specs?

with a bent rod it doesn't matter, but if i were to i'd do it the same way they do: calibrate against something of known torque using the lateral adjustment screws and springs. surely every member of this forum has multiple accurate in-lb torque wrenchen, right? i just like taking stuff apart to see how it works
