I’m looking for ideas on how to store some wood in my garage. The things I‘m dealing with are half a sheets of plywood, some 2x4s full lengths and pieces, chunks of 4x4s, etc. Basically things leftover from a specific project that are too big to throw away, but have a tendency to take up a large amount of floor space.

I have a 3 car garage 2 wide at the front and 2 deep on one side. The back 3rd parking spot is toolboxes, shelves, workbenches, and drill press.

Any attic?
sheet goods are pretty accessible and out of the way against walls or if your tool cabinets aren't back to back stash items up against there backside.
I also have wide racks attached to ceiling rafters that extend down just 8” and keep trim & dimensional lumber on those. Worst case, use the floor under vehicles for a few inches of stacking.
