Seems like most guys in my field prefer the Irwins. I've been through several pairs and so far they're the ones I've stuck with the longest. I've been through several other pairs, including Klein, that have gotten finicky and inconsistent after a few weeks or months of use. I have a Gardner Bender pair that I like for tight spots or times when I have just a short length of wire to work with because the cutting head is very low profile. The Klein are by far the most bulky I've used.

I have a set of older Ideal that are great but seldom used since they are too bulky for automotive for me

I have a Irwin and a Capri. They look almost the same.
Except I like the plastic handle on the Irwin better.
I guess they perform similarly.
But you might get Irwin on Amazon when there's a coupon.

i bought the irwins. they seem to work good but the handles are very uncomfortable, something little softer or maybe rubber warped would be better i think but for the amount ill be using them it wont be a problem.

Our work (custom automated work cells) uses nothing but Paladin/Weidmuller Stripax wire strippers and they hold up for thousands and thousands of stripped wires.

This looks to be an exact knockoff of the now obsolete version at 1/8 of the price but I have no idea of its quality. I'm ordering one right now to see how it works out.

I like my Irwin's
I bought some Irwins and mine **** ***. Work great on softer insulation like s.o. Cord but anything harder than that and it doesn't strip.
