I have one.......I think it's made by montezuma, it's nicer than anything else in the price range by far. I use it at work. I went with the 56 top and bottom. It's been around six months and is holding up very well. It's not a premium box, but for the price it's a bargin.
Thank you, but I'm looking for opinions on the "new for 2012" Strictlytoolboxes brand toolboxes. A while ago they held a naming contest of a new line, and I thought had settled on Titan. Maybe that name fell through.

Montezuma makes two of the boxes for us. The other two come from a different source.
Below is the Titan story. It is a long but boring read.
Titan: Long story but it starts with me thinking I am smart and not listening to the people around me. I wanted to do the name contest around the holidays so we could give away some cool stuff during the holiday season. Sounded like a lot of fun to me. Everyone I know---EVERYONE told me it was a horrible idea because we were way to busy that time of year. So I just plowed forward full steam thinking it would be easy. Sure enough after around a thousand suggestions and working until around 1 am every night researching domain availability, trademarks etc I finally realized everyone was right.
I was just exhausted and sick of the process and grabbed my 20 favorite names and let the people around me choose the final 3 and we sent prizes. Now that some time has passed I have come to dislike for the name Titan. Mainly because I realized there are over 12 companies in this industry named Titan. 4 were at the ISN show in June. I have canceled my trade mark request.
Years ago I used to purchase Goodyear off lease equipment like Sun and Bear engine analyzers – Coats tire machine etc. That company was called Recon Auto Equipment. Even though the Recon name is not the best fit for tool storage I had decided that there is enough sentimental value in the Recon name for me. Yes I must be getting old. So we started moving forward with Recon Tool Storage.
The trade mark was filed and had met all initial approval.
We had 4 products on order.
Then Cummins attorneys called me. They have a trade mark on Recon for used parts. Since the parts are marketed to diesel techs and I market to the same they saw a potential conflict. My attorney said they may be right or they may be wrong but either way they could easily tie me up in court for years. So I lost my sentimental feeling for Recon and we have moved on.
We have since filed for 2 more names. For now we are still just labeling everything with StrictlyToolBoxes.com until one of the trade mark moves to the registered status.

We brought the GB-4219 in just to have a different looking box. The fold out side trays are a nice feature if you have the space. But really they are just for holding tools not a work surface. The top lid of the GB-4219 is my only real issue with that box. It is not real sturdy. It certainly works but it is not as heavy as the top lid on the Extreme and Montezuma 41” boxes. With that said it is a lid not a work surface.
The GB-4219 drawers have a handle that runs the length of the drawer pull. When you open the drawer this “unlocks” the drawer. The Extreme and Montezuma use detents to hold the drawer shut.
The cost of building the GB-4219 with the work trays and rounded lid make the Montezuma or Extreme a better buy for many of our customers.

Wow.. I wish I could have spent the extra bit to get a box from you guys.. I love customer service. Ended up getting the 56" HF box a few days ago.. it's great for the price, not quite as refined as yours appear. It just wasn't in the cards to spend the extra for personal use though. Again though, awesome customer service. That's good to see.

There are a few names back in the running. Dealing with the US Patent and Trademark office is a slow process. We will see what few months bring.

Bump. Any personal pics or reviews of this box? It recently went on sale and I am 1 click away from buying it. I was set on the Harbor Freight 41" box, but then found this one and it looks really nice. My poor little freebie box is filled to the gills and barely closes anymore.

Since that Post in 11-15-2011 There has been an Update
One of the very first names submitted within the first 2 hours of the name that brand contest was “Tool Vault” The problem was Tool Vault was already a registered mark. Since then that mark has expired and we were able to register the mark.

We contacted regguy1 and told him the whole story and asked him where he wanted his new box shipped. He decided to order the new side locker at that time. He has left a great review and also 2 video reviews.

I'm new to this forum, but I figured I'd post since I've been lurking for the past few weeks. I live in Northern Va. and have a small 20x20 attached garage. I always have 2 cars in my garage and the extra space is taken up with cabinets, tool boxes, kids ****, and a refrigerator. I've outgrown my 3 tier 26" Craftsman box and really wanted to buy something bigger. The problem was space....my refrigerator was 36" wide by 30" deep and my compressor was set up right next to it.
I stumbled upon StrictlyToolBoxes.com in threads on this site and was excited about their boxes. Originally I was looking at the Extreme boxes, but the review and videos for the Tool Vault changed my mine. I walked through the order process about a half dozen times over the last week. The only thing holding me back was the fear of not being able to put my refrigerator somewhere else. I spent the entire afternoon yesterday looking at garage cabinets and refrigerators at all the big box stores.....long story short, I decided it would be stupid to spend $400 on a new refrigerator that's half the size of what I have.
I went home and took my refrigerator apart. I drafted one of my neighbors, and he helped me get it into my basement. I was concerned it wouldn't fit as the hallway leading to the stairs is fairly narrow. We JUST squeezed it by with less than a mm to spare. The second I got it downstairs I ordered the 56" Tool Vault box with the side cabinet. I was crushed to see that it is backordered until next week, but I figured I've waiting this long so what's another week.
The process took me forever because I had to add more plugs to the unfinished area the refrigerator was going in to. The area is directly beneath my garage so I decided I'd also put my compressor there and would plumb it back to the garage. I added a switch to my garage that controls a plug in the storage room so I can turn my compressor on and off remotely. By the time I finished putting the refrigerator back together and restocking it, it was 4am.
The only thing left is to plumb the compressor and move my hose reel from the wall to the ceiling. Wish me luck....I've only every sweated pipe once before!
This forum is great and I'd like to thank all of you who have posted your experiences. I'm also thrilled to see the StrictlyToolBox guys post here on a regular basis....without a doubt that swayed my decision to go with them.
