I would like to fill in the expansion lines in my main garage floor

I have used Sikaflex self leveling in the past......is this still the top product to use?

Do they all have "accelerated curing capacity" and is this what I need or want?

I don't have an answer but I was just wondering about the same thing as they just cut my slab. I hate all the **** that collects in the cuts of my current garage.

Use the Sikaflex product, over fill the cuts, and cut it down with a sharp floor scraper, the one that uses a replaceable 4" blade. The Sikaflex will cut cleanly off.

I like that tip. It doesn't sound like a back breaker either.

I have used a crimped wire wheel on a small angle grinder with brushed finish exterior slabs. It is a little messy because you are making sealer dust. The sealer surface will end up with some texture vs. the regular gloss look. The seams generally end up with a little concave like a grout line. It is quick.

Years ago I used Soneborn SL in all the cracks and didn't regret it one bit. It held up for a longtime. Like any you have to clean and prep properly. The foam backer rod is good to put into larger size cracks or voids. A lot of good colored products out there today as the Urethane was good for me more recently on a color stamped patio.
Good luck,
LTF

We use Sikaflex to cover small expansion joints. For large expansion joints (greater than 2") , we use a non-self leveling product called TREMCO Decktite. It is a pain to tool, but it really lasts, especially exposed to the elements.

It will be in my garage so it won't really be exposed to sun and the elements

I just want to fill in joints so have a cleaner look, especially after the floor was recently coated

I think the Sika gray will match up well

OP should try a small test. I think he might wind up with the photo-negative problem of a lighter gray cross spanning his floor. If that unfilled dark joint is bothering him, the reverse probably will too.
The base gray is close to sika, but the chips change the overall appearance somewhat. The stripes of sika are going to be obvious and will probably be contrasting to a slight degree.
I used some to fill in a seam between my garage footing and a brick sidewalk, worked great for my purpose. THere was a void in one area and I washed sand into it until it filled in, rather than use any sort of backer rod or foam.
