Thanks guys for the feedback. To order missing part of the roof I needed to take some pictures.

As you see, some builder before me had used some syrofoam or etc. for insulation at the upper part of the build. I am just wondering why is this done, because the room under the roof is without heating and is just used to hold heating wood (covered from rain). There is even feel the natural airmovment inside the room. So, for me, this means just more work to get rid of it, or just build around of it. Eventually it will not be seen from the garage and if it stays in the attic its not a big deal, because I am not planning to use the upper room above the garage --- if I do use it then just for extra storage:

And the time came to set the trusses. Called some guys from work to help. Delivery was done with crane, but due to the reason I had to got for vocation for couple of days, I just stored the trusses next to house.
So ... again we used some menpower to lift them on, and set to place. Firstly we lift all of them up. Then set the outer one at the right place. Guiding with string we put others between existing building and the outer truss. Some pictures for proof:

You are doing/have done an amazing job doing all of that work yourself!

I'm also currently building one all by myself so I can appreciate all of the hard work you have put into it!

Hi, kuusk623.

I would have a one question for you, What type is the fence around your lot. More specifically, what is the name of the plant. I would want to know the name of the plant, because myself have ahead the fence planting around the lot perimeter and I have thought exactly that kind of plant that you have. If it is the one that I had on my mind.
The botanical name of the plant that I had have on my mind, is called "Thuja occidentalis". Would it happen to be the same kind that you have on your lot ?.

greetings from finland

What material is the roof?

Roof is made of steel. Covered with thin plastic or paint at both sides. Underside is white. Upper side is ordered as you like through the colors the company provides. My roof color is RR32. Not recommended to cut with grinder or other way what could made sparks. Sparks could melt the coating and give to rust a good start point.

Luckily the roof pieces were 5,6m long (ordered straight from factory). That made it quite easy to lift them up. The longer they are, the bigger is risk of bending the material while pulling it on to the roof.

It is hold on place with screws - approximately 7 screws per m2.

Greetings to Finland. You are right. It is "Thuja occidentalis". I put it around my lot cause it stays green even in winter - giving perfect cover for through a year. It crows around 30-40cm per year. In my case it reached the required height, so I just cut the upper part on plants and now I started just trimming the sides. If you put it down, I recommend to put 50cm gaps between the plants. My case the gaps are around 80cm-s and it will take some time for them to form a hedge. On other side I did smaller gaps and the whole hedge looks thicker.

I´m not expecting big progress anymore. It seems the plan to get it watertight for this winter could still be achieved. End of the vocation will slow the progress down, but I still need to do some mayor works, before the snow comes.

1) Need to dig a trench for electricity and apply the cabel and fuse box. Mainly needed to operate the door.
2) Order and integrate a door
3) Finis the siding and add some lamps and outlets to the sides of the doorway

looks great! amazing you did it all yourself

To be honest, this year the machinery was operated by my friend. Main reason for that was to get rid of the dirt, and i did not have a truck to remove the material. From the previous year I towed the mud that came from the footings by myself with small trailer ....had to take aroud 7 trips.

This year I organized my buddy for digging and relocating the mud. For conclusion there came out around 15m3 of dirt ant it took a day to dig and make a round trips to get rid of the dirt. Luckily I got another buddy who needed the dirt for smoothing his garden. So ... after 10h working day I had a decent hole to backfill with material that will carry the load of the floor.

Fortunately my phones camera quit working and I had to change to another camera. Despite the bad quality hopefully you get the idea what is going on. Today I recieved the material to fill the hole and before that I laid town a geomembrane to obstruct the sand to mix with stones.
