I think that is a good / great deal and I am extremely cheap as it is. As long as all the drawers work properly I think the buyer is getting a great box for the money. Looks really clean and well maintained.

Thanks, posted it here also in case somebody here is interested.

Its well maintained. It shows signs of use but with the drawer liners and new roller slides, its come back to life.

I have bought a few boxes on Craigslist that were really sweet deals that were posted on there for weeks and I was the only one interested. I think your in the right price range.

There was one two weeks ago without the hutch for $600 which I would consider a you **** price. What is the story with the hutch? I always loved the 1700!

The price seems fine but you have a box that will appeal to a pretty specific crowd.
Not everybody wants/needs a hutch and full width drawers are more common on top than bottom.
You'll likely get your price once the right buyer finds your ad.

You could pocket some change in difference I guess. A cart type thing would be cheaper. ****, just looked at the third pic, I like that, would have a hard time letting it go in good shape if I already owned it unless I had something better rigged.

The cart will be more mobile and fit in the sweet spot of the garage when getting multiple cars in. I also, have no need for two double banks.

I got a few hits today, but nothing rock solid.

Looks like a fair price to me. Not a "steal" price, but a fair one. I'm sure there's a limited market for boxes like that, but you just have to find the right person.

Get all the **** off it.
Clear out the cans and tools that aren't included with it.
Get it out of your fluorescent lit garage and put it outside in good light with a clean, simple backdrop behind it. A black sheet or tablecloth can do wonders for eBay pics, for example.

Open the drawers staggered with the bottom open fully, the next few less and less. Show how clean it is in and out!

There are only two ways to sell a house. Cleared out or staged. With toolboxes, one of those doesn't apply.

Good luck.
