Well, as all of you know,,,,,, our garage is the place where we keep our toys, collect our thoughts, chug a brew or 2,,, but it's all about the ease, tools and speed, in which we can work on our cars/trucks/bikes/boats/tractors/scooters/equipment/etc..... (i hope i didn't leave anybody out) but you get the picture.

Well,, it is my pleasure,,, i get to WORK at SEMA (it's like a big TOY'R"US for me) it's not open to the public, only Vendors, Press and a few pretiguous car club members.

It opens Tuesday,,,, and i'll post up some products, or news, or nothing,, depends on what i have to take care of.

However,, it was awesome to finally meet JEFF,, from BENDPAK today,,, as he was setting up the Ranger Tools booth. What a great guy, and really cool to talk to. Have a heard about the NEW addition to BENDPAK line up. This one is the "BLACKJACK"  What a great idea,, and perfect concept for someone like me. I don't have the addtional garage space yet,,,, but i still struggle to work on some cars or trucks (my own) So,, this new lift, is PORTABLE,,,, yeah,, PORTABLE.......... i can't wait to get my hands on it,, :pimpflash ,,,,,, but for right now,,,, it's all polished up at the BENDPAK booth at SEMA in Las Vegas.....

stay tuned,,,,,,, i'm gonna get some pics up for this baby..

48" max lift with the 3" pad things, figure about 10" to the lift points on many cars and these sure are not going up very much.

Actually, pretty much anybody can go if you have the contacts or the initiative to do the paperwork. The Wife and I are leaving tomorrow for our second time. Last year was a blast and this year we have three days to browse. Ought to be a good time.

I was at SEMA in the 90's - as the manager for a Volvo-dealers bodyshop, PPG was trying to get our business and WOW - I still can't believe they where able to treat me (and the wife) THAT good! Unfortunately I don't remember all of it...but from what I do remember - the show was awesome:thumbup:. Many race car drivers posed and signed pics for the wife, babes of every description posed with me for pics, went to all the high-end eateries (Ruth's Chris Steak House ring a bell for anyone? :)) around Vegas and lots more. Came home with many boxes of goods too.

Speaking of PPG trying to get the business....in one year they did that, bought me all kinds of tools (still have the O-A welder), took us to Indy at Laguna Seca and Vancouver, complete with Pace Car Rides, judging the paint on the Indy Cars, lunch with the racers....it was an interesting year for sure.

Have a blast! WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES. I went last year....it was NUTS...I've never seen so many wheels in my life.
We just finished a project with the Fender Custom Shop and Toyota....it'll be in the Toyota booth, you'll have to check it out. It's "Project 6-String" which is a 2009 Matrix. We did the interior and the pinstriping. Way outside our box, but a really fun project and an honor to work with Fender and Toyota.
sneak peak for ya..........
