I have several tools that belonged to my grandather. He gave me a single snap on screwdriver, a 1/2in fleet ratchet and socket set, and a doe and dbe wrench set made by Penens, along with a Proto ajustable wrench and 1/2in breaker bar. With his recent passing they are especially sentimental to me.

very nice. were it mine, i would pick up a repair kit, just to make sure . . . .

19$ after shipping seems like a reasonable insurance policy. if you were me, just buying it will make sure it was never needed. . . . . . .

(not my auction, i just remember seeing it while looking for a repair kit, and went and found it again.)

My Snap-On guy ordered me a kit last week. There is nothing wrong with the ratchet but I didn't want to use it daily if I couldn't replace the parts. If it was discontinued I would have retired it, but as they still make them I will use this thing until I die, and maybe one day my son will be using it and think of his old dad or grandad and so it contionues.......:D

This is my grandfathers snap on ratchet from 1935 that I recently acquired. It still works perfectly! He passed away when I was really little so it's awesome to have something like this to remind me of him.
