septic system distribtion box

My septic system has the distribution box and 2 leach fields. The box has inbound from septic tank on the left, outflows to fields on front of box and right of box.

Is there a a common way to plumb for the 2 leach fields? Does the front of box go to the closest field or the farther away field? I am having wet spot issues and wondering if I was actually sending water when it is very wet in Ohio to the lower field and the lowest part of my yard? I had been sending water out on the right side of box.
