Getting ready to begin the inside walls and ceiling of my 24x32 pole building and want to get the sequence of install correct. I plan on doing a metal ceiling and OSB for the walls. Wall framing will be 24" OC, 10' tall, and outside face flush with the poles. For the ceiling I have storage trusses that are 24' long, 8' OC. I plan to insulate with craft-faced bat and then a vapor barrier. The builder said the floor for the attic should be 2x4, 24" OC, flush with the top of the truss. The storage doesn't extend the full 24' span.
Should I do the walls or ceiling first? To attach the metal ceiling, should I run 2x4 joists from truss to truss, 24" OC, flush with the truss bottom? For the j-channel, should I install if flush with the wall framing or leave a space to slide the OSB behind (assuming I do the ceiling first)? I would like to eventually install plenty of lighting and possibly some air lines. Would appreciate your thoughts and feedback.

Before you get started, I see an issue with your plan. Kraft paper acts as a vapor barrier, while maybe not the best one, it is one. Your plan calls for a placing a vapor barrier over that.

To the extent of my knowledge, I don't believe you want to use two vapor barriers. I'm sure someone else will chime in on the matter.

The other issue I see, is the trusses. You mention they are storage trusses yet they are 8' OC and using 2x4s for the attic floor joists.

There must be more to it then this. If not, I would have serious issue with paying somebody to build this. What's the bottom chord of these trusses made out of ? How many pole building has your builder put up ?

Don't ask.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as the vapor barriers are together, no air space in between them.

It is a Wick building. Regards the trusses, I knew going in that I would need to do the joists connecting the trusses for the storage above. Know I can easily do this myself rather than paying. Entire truss is wood. Wick engineers call for 2x4 joists, 24" OC to complete the storage. Hope this clarifies.
