I'm in the late stages of an addition we are building onto our house. Long story short, I've got to cut a new 1.5" hole in the back of my main disconnect outside and feed #1AWG/3 SER through it, the exterior plywood, then up the studs, over some ceiling joists about fifteen feet and drop it down into a subpanel in a closet. The interior is unfinished until I get electrical passed by codes and can move forward with the insulation and drywall. That's the gist of my project. The question is after I knockout a 1.5" hold in the outside panel and sheathing what connector can I use that won't require me to unbolt the panel and pull it away from the outside wall? I've used the standard two screw clamps before but I can't see them working here if I can't pull the panel from the wall.

Only way would be to install the connector from the inside of the panel, which is a method I don't care for personally.

Romex connector into a rigid coupling, connected to the disconnect with a chase ******. The depth of the rigid coupling should be enough to get the connector inside the wall where you can access the clamp screws. If not, use two couplings with a close ****** between them.
