Hey guys, well I plan on purchasing a serpentine belt tool tomorrow but i can't decide between 2
I'm drawn between the OTC serpentine belt tool kit and the Lisle ratcheting serpentine belt tool kit
All comments and suggestions are welcome
Thank you in advance

I bought the OTC belt tool and didn't really like it that much.I like the Gearwrench belt tool much better.

+1 on the Gearwrench (no experience with the OTC)

I replaced allot of belts using standard tools before I purchased the GW vers. Wish I purchased it earlier

I have a gear wrench set and also a lisle non ratcheting kit. I always grab the gear wrench kit.

The Gearwrench was a little awkward for me at first but once I got in the groove on how to set it up at the right angles and guide it in to position I am now able to do serpentine belts faster than ever. Plus it saves me from cuts and burns.

I just saw the GW on sale for about $30 somewhere but didn't pay too much attention to it since I already have one.

I bought the "Kobalt" branded version which is the same thing (only grey/blue vs red/black) for about $30 off cripe distributing.

^^ $60 with double x pliers

Cripe's website is down but it looks like they removed the Kobalt serpentine kit off their ebay store, they may have sold out.

Add another vote for the GearWrench. Almost a must on FWD/AWD Volvos, your blood pressure levels will thank you too :D

I live in England and even I have the GW kit :)

Stick a bit of paper towel round the socket before you push it into the ratchet wrench or they will fall off sometimes.

One more for the Gearwrench belt tool. It's that good. No serp belt tool set has 100% coverage but this one comes close. I've used lots of different ones and the Gearwrench set is the Most versatile.
