Service Entrance Cable, partially underground

I have a 25’ run from an outdoor meter panel to a 200 amp home main breaker box, two phase. About 5’ of the run is through heavy conduit underground, into the basement. I have a lot of aluminum 4/0-4/0-4/0-2/0 SER to do the job. I know I cant use the ser inside the conduit. I believe that is due to heating of a bundled cable inside a confined conduit. my question can i strip off the outer jacket and reinforcement of the SER in the u/g conduit, thus separating the wires, and still meet code. thanks​

No. SER can be in conduit, but it can't be underground regardless of whether it's in conduit.

SER can run in conduit. there is no issue with overheating. however SER CANNOT run underground. and you cant strip the jacket and use the individual conductors if they arent labeled.

BTW, It is single phase or split phase but not 2 phase.

Not sure I'm following the problem. Exactly what is the concern?
