Service grounding question

Typical residential UG service.

My POCO connects GEC to their meter socket neutral bus.

They do not mandate I install a separate bond from meter can to main panel.

My Main service panel is 6" away, connected by a PVC ******.

Ground bonding screw is installed on my panel neutral bus.

I also installed a second rod connected to my main panel.

I understand that electrically my neutral from panel to socket would carry fault current, in parallel w small earth current.

Question - Do I leave that as described, OR, do I ADD a bond from panel to socket in parallel w neutral?

In rural area of NO inspections.

In MN, we always ran and terminated the GEC into main disc...PVC *******, did not bond it to meter can, relied on POCO neutral bonded to meter can to act as ground bond.

Now, I am in TX, where the POCO provides and installs rod and GEC, and runs it into their meter can.

I have searched for answer to this detail question w no clear answer.

Having "No Inspections" should not have any bearing on the correct way to do it. Most municipalities require electrical work to be done to code even if inspections are not required.

I only stated the technical fact of no inspections.

I have always done things w Code as my minimum, with electrical understanding as a foundation.

We are in agreement.
