Hi,

Had my 725 for just shy of two years now. I oil it daily before using it, works like it did when i bought it.

I've no reason to service it as it works perfectly but im keen to keep it running sweet.

Snap on truck swings by and i ask about it, £80 flat rate to get it serviced apparently which includes a new case.

Can i service it myself ? I guess they just take it apart and clean/grease it ? Can't be anything too hard with doing that myself surely.

Not sure how they do it over there but here in the US, it is a flat rate repair charge. They will completely refurb the gun and replace any worn parts. It may or may not come back with a new case. It just depends on the condition of the old one.

you could try to buy the lube for the anvils and replace it. it is not hard to change, but may be difficult to find.
