Does look handy but agree $180 is a little steep.

Seems like the kind of thing HF or others may do or use the same Chinese manufacturer that Snap On does and paint it a different color for a lower price.

I picked up one similar for less than $80 from Walmart years ago. Had a box on one end that you could lock stuff in. Came in handy painting around the house.

If you want a used hospital table, check out nursing homes and hospitals that are upgrading. I know hospitals trade in there old beds and cabinets when they upgrade and then they are either refurbished or scrapped by the people who take the trade ins. They also would surely get some that are damaged for one reason or the other and just get junked. If you were closer to me I would try and hook you up with one as I have some sources. As I type this I am only a half mile away from Hill-Rom Company, the world leader in hospital equipment manufacturing.

I think I would rather make a tray that slipped into my engine stand yoke so when my engine stand didnt have a motor on it, I could still use it.
Afer all, when the engine is on the stand, I can take it to the tools...

I built one of those for my shop.
A couple pieces of square tube and a large tray from restaurant supply and a few casters.
Less than $20.

I have that Blue Point one. When I bought it it was $150, but I've been impressed with the sturdiness and stability of it. considering I work on HE I've loaded it down pretty seriously, no problems.

Unfortunately I havent been able to compare it with any others in person though.

I have the sunnex one that was posted. Doesn't look like much, but I've been impressed with it. A whole lot stronger then it looks. I've added a big magnet strip to it, can holders and welded some hangers for impact guns on it. One of the better $90 I've spent.

I like the price of the Northern one, but like how the BluePoint one is fully cantilevered for getting under a hood with you... but I don't like paying Snap-On price for made in china.

Making my own may be some sort of an option as well, though I don't have a welder (or welding skills) so it would need to be bolt together.

Perfect diy project if you got a mig welder and can cut the metal. Its more fun to build your own that way its how you want it. If I can do it you can.

I have two of those. Not that brand or as good but $30 each from HF. Used them for 15 years now. One is holding the take off parts from disassembling the final drive on my Ural to replace the ring and pinion gear.

When ready to button up all the pieces are right there.

As I said not the quality of the one in the picture but 15 years of service and $30 is more than "good enough" for any one. Even the big brand name snobs.
