Several US-Made Ratchets

I'm going to focus on a few of my favorite brands/models of ratchets, and stop buying all kinds just because they are "cool." So, these are being weeded from my box.

These are "working" ratchets...by which I mean that if you need a flawless showpiece for your trophy case, I can't guarantee these fit the bill. Please inquire about specific ratchets if you want to know about nicks, scuffs, pitting etc.

Most of these have been disassembled and cleaned, and I know they all work/are not broken.

I can't take money through Paypal, so a US Postal money order will be the way to go. I can ship however you like...the $4.95 Priority route, or if you think Parcel Post might be cheaper, we can check that. Prices do not include shipping.

Bull,I don't think your prices are out of line.I think the lack of replies is more to do with no paypal.If you had it I would have jumped on that Williams a couple days ago.

I know what you mean, caper. I like using Paypal as a buyer. But guys like J.A.F.E and others on the internet whom I have heard over the years scare me about the rather extensive powers PP has with your money, even if a dishonest buyer lies and tries to say you failed to deliver the product.

Hi Buck. Vintage Armstrong is probably my first choice, followed by vintage flexible designs from New Britain, and the vintage open-geared Thorsens. These are what I am going to focus on now.

I will probably go back to buying more brands after a while, but now seems like a good time to narrow focus...my small tool box is getting full, and all my money has been going one way: OUT!

3. It's not flashy, but it won't let you down.

Recieved the Willaims ratchet today and I'm very pleased. Nice ratchet, quickly shipped and great to deal with. Thank you very much.

Adding some more stuff tonight, and the 1/2 SK and Thorsen from post #1 are still here.

Here is a pic of the new items for your consideration:

The top two items go together. The 2nd one down is a NB 3/8 flex. Works well, but the head is a bit sloppy. The Husky above it is an identical ratchet, with no slop in the head, but it is a factory defect as there is no groove on the back side to hold the retaining clip for the gear assembly. $18 for the pair.

Next down is a 1/4" SK palm control. I bought it as new, and have used it a few times. It is a very nice ratchet...excellent chrome, feels good in your hand, smooth action. $18

Below that is a 1/4" Craftsman...I got this maybe ten+ years ago, if I remember correctly. It has seen light use. $7

On the bottom is a vintage 3/8 Bonney breaker. Bought it from a member on here because it's cool, used it maybe once. Time to move on to its next home. $9

I'd definitely consider trading any of these, and other stuff I have towards Bonney wrench sets.

As with the first batch of stuff, the prices do not include shipping.
