Seville Cabinet Custom Sink Install

I wanted/needed a sink in my garage to wash up and misc but didn't want a big tub sink so I came up with the idea to use one my spare rolling Seville cabinets. After taking some measurements I figured a 12"x18" sink should fit and I also found one that was 10" deep which would be deep enough to clean paint rollers and stuff. See pics of the install, I think it came out great and it looks like it is part of my cabinets. I use the drawers for towels and stuff and there is plenty of room underneath for storage of larger items. All that is left is the towel and soap dispenser. I want to add a matching backsplash if I can get Seville to send me some material.

That is one nice installation!! It all look good with the rest of the garage cabinets. Where did you get the sink?

Googled the size I was looking for and ended finding the best deal at Crest Restaurant Supply. It is a Krowne Metal (HS-1419). Pretty expensive, almost $175 but it accomplished what I wanted it to do. There are cheaper ones but I wanted the deep sink which cost a premium.

I suspect the "mobile" part is just to match the other cabinets. Obviously it can't move or the supply and drain lines would be an issue.

Are you going to coat the top with some polyurethane or something similar? If you don't, it'll look pretty nasty after a while.

Definitely not mobile. But I can disconnect the lines and roll it out of the way if needed.

The Seville tops are coated from the factory. It still has a good coating on it despite the use prior to making it a sink cabinet. I caulked the sink heavily around the rim to make sure nothing gets through to the bottom.
