I know there have been discussions of this workbench before, but I thought I would put some assembly pictures up for others to see what it looks like inside and out. First off, this is the one that is sold through Sam's Club.

I picked one up Sunday and after 3 hours of assemble it was done. I think it is well engineered and will fit my needs perfectly. It is well packed in two boxes. Each piece is individually wrapped. There are 6 bolts for the top and all the remaining assembly screws are the same with the exception of the handles and bumpers at the bottom. (not installed in the photos)

The parts were not bent or warped. All holes were in the right place. All the nuts are pressed in captive type so only a screwdriver is needed. Easy to follow instructions.

Here are my Assembly photos.

It is mostly assembled upside down and gets flipped over once the frame is complete.

When assembling is there a way to swap the location of the sections? For example, can you put the door on the end as opposed to the middle?

Unfortunately no. The frame is drilled to accept the slides in only one location. Plus the center door is a bit wider than the drawers.

I have a slightly differing view of this rolling bench. I'm not going to trash it and tell everyone it's a POS, but I was very disappointed in the overall quality. Granted you can't expect a lot for $400, but I found the fact that the whole thing is put together with 4mm zinc screws to be a big issue. I plan to use extreme caution with this bench, since I'm sure any real stress is going to cause those fasteners to fail. I'm no NFL lineman and I twisted the head off one of the screws simply putting the cabinet together. I also found that the drawers don't line up properly and a couple tend to pop open a bit just from sitting. The top on mine, which again wasn't expected to be great quality, is all scratched up simply from using it to assemble the drawers. I'm really mystified how that could even happen but it did. Apparently the top just isn't designed to withstand all the stress of setting things on top of it.
I rate this a 5 out of 10 even considering the price. Too bad, since if they would have designed it to be assembled with $5 worth of hardware instead of the 50c that it is, it would be a good sturdy bench.

Does the middle sag/flex when you sit on it? Maybe another set of casters in the middle and 3/8"x1" bolts/nuts whould rectify it?

Hows it feel? Solid? Flimsy? What are your thoughts on it after having put it together?

I believe it is solid enough for me. I can sit in the middle and it will not sag. This is not a product made by Snap-On or Matco and it only cost $400. I found all the fasteners to tighten and secure each piece. I won't be rebuilding engines on it, so I think it will meet my needs. You can always go to your nearest SAMS's and check it out in person.

If I were to come up with complaints, it is fingerprints on the drawers, (think SS fridge). The other is the drawers, when pressed all the way in, they lock in place. When opening them, it takes more pressure than I like to pull them back out. I would also like a wider top that overhangs the front an inch or two.

You can buy an extra pair of swivel wheels from Seville so all four swivel allowing it to be very maneuverable.

Mine is 6 months old now. I've got some of the other products so I was already aware of the top scratching easily. I just put down something before I work on something with sharp edges or really heavy that I will be sliding. The drawers do take a little to slide them fully closed or open. The stainless is harder to keep clean. If I am going to clean it, I have to use windex first, then my stainless cleaner. I did move mine the other day to use it to cut a 4x8 sheet of wood. The wheels did not roll very good. I need to see if one is jammed or something. I'm still pretty happy with it.

I don't see it as flimsy. It feels pretty solid. It's 400 dollars. Those of us that have bought it probably are DIYers looking for a worktable with some storage. If you want to spend 200 more and go to Costco, go ahead, I hope it works out for you. If you get this, I do not think you will be unhappy (unless you make a living off of your worktable) or have unrealistic expectations of a 6ft workbench with storage for 400 dollars.

That's a nice looking box at a good price.
I have a similar one from Costco, it's a bit smaller but has the nice wood top. It's 56", I use as a desk and storage, You can see it in the video link below

Does anyone have pics of the drawers fully extended out of the bench? Im looking for just something stationary for tool storage. I also like the matching wall cabinets that go with it.

Good write up, thanks! I've been considering buying one of these for a year now. They look plenty sturdy in the store. For the money I don't think it can be beat.

I want it to have my drill press, bandsaw, and possibly something else installed on. Unfortunately I don't really have the room for it at the moment, so I've been holding off. If they end up closing them out or something, I will be buying one and making some room.

I don't have that model, but I do have the regular seville classic 6' workbench, and the rolling cabinets that go under it. At the time, Sams only had the small cabinets which had a cabinet on one side, and drawers on the other. I think I would have preferred each rolling station to either be drawers or cabinets, but not both. But they are decent and I will echo that the drawers can be a little difficult to pull to get them started. That will probably smoothen up as they break in though. The dedicated workbench seems to be fairly stable and strong, but as someone else mentioned, the maple tops are a little soft. I would say these are fair products for the value, but not the most superstout. I have another steel/maple top workbench I picked up off clist that is very strong and stable. The seller bought it from an oilfield service shop and it has the scars of heavy usage but is perfectly sound.

Pics below so folks know what I'm talking about.

Nice looking bench, but I find it amusing they would call something with a 30lb per drawer rating Ultra Heavy Duty.
