Shark grip dosage?

Hey gang.

I'm getting ready to put my top coat of SW Rexthane on in the next day or two.
I'm going to mix in some shark grip so people don't bust their cans when walking on it.

The small bottle says 1lb per 5 gallons. My Rexthane is in 1 gallon cans.

I'm curious of dosages/mixtures of shark grip some of you have used and what the result was.

I'm just looking for a little traction. I don't want my floor to feel like sand paper if your bare footed. I'm also not looking for an OSHA approved safety floor.

Regards

Good morning. It depends a lot on the mil thickness of the top coat and where in the system it is placed. For the sake of safety you should always stick to manufactures suggested amounts, but many people will go with half that. Do you have a kitchen scale? Based on what you have indicated here, they are suggesting 3.2oz/gallon.
