Sharkbite fitting installed too close to copper fitting

I mindlessly put this copper cap onto a pipe length that didn't have enough space to get my disconnect clip onto. The reducer fitting just below the cap is blocking me from getting my disconnect clip on.

IS there anyway I can salvage this sharkbite cap?

Disconnect clip. LOL. I've never used one. I normally use an adjustable wrench, but yeah, screwdrivers will do here unless you've got a thin profile wrench like a cone wrench that will fit.

There's more than one type of disconnect tool. Looks to me like the tongs type disconnect will work. The tongs run $8 or so, but yeah, I'd try screwdrivers first.

Not familiar with sharkbites, do they work like ford fuel line connections? If so there are low profile tools at the auto store.

Yes, they are pretty trick tech. An o-ring makes the seal and the teeth keep the pipe or tube from slipping back out.
They may be a little on the expensive side but when doing a repair or small install, I really, really like them.
