I ordered a Sharpe 880A air control unit from Amazon expecting a high quality product made in America. The Sharpe web site says:

Sharpe said:
The talented and dedicated engineers in Minneapolis, as well as the highly skilled manufacturing team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, stand proud behind each of the products they design and produce.

When it arrived, I was disappointed to see this on the box and product:

The Box said:
Designed in the USA. Made by Sharpe in China

So... WWGJD? What would garage journal do?

ok... so those might be a little larger than you need... The model you got at one time was made here, and you could always look for a used one if your really set on a Sharp branded one

Dear Sharpe / Graco:

I recently purchased air control unit model 880A from amazon.com. I
am a devoted hobbyist and was looking for a quality unit to use with
my Champion compressor. I chose this product after reading many good
reviews on the Internet.

I buy tools that are Made in America whenever possible. To me, this
is an indication of quality and pride. Reading the "about us" page on
sharpe1.com, I had thought your company agreed with my ideals:

"The talented and dedicated engineers in Minneapolis, as well as the
highly skilled manufacturing team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, stand
proud behind each of the products they design and produce."

Unfortunately, the product arrived with "Designed in the US; Made by
Sharpe in China". The careful wording may assure some people that
everything will be OK, but not me. I am writing to tell you that I am
returning my 880A to Amazon.com for this very reason.

You may wish to re-word your web site so others understand what
products are coming from what country.
