I use mine with a draw knife and spokes shave for handles and such Hammer to sledge they work great. I've made bows on them, and decoys.

That is a nice upgrade but I'd need some padding; No way I can sit on a hard board anymore! Whatever those bones are in your *** just cut right through...

What does one do with a shaving horse?
One use is for making lacrosse sticks. It's not nearly as common as it used to be but there are some craftsman that still make traditional sticks.

I don't get it. Is that block between the wheels a seat-back?

Could be, but for right now it's a block of leftover wood. I am thinking of putting a dowl in the bottom, then drilling several holes a couple of inches apart to use it as one. Or doing the same with a tractor seat.
