Shear attachment for drill. Anyone put these to use?

This thing popped up a few weeks ago while I was thumbing thru the Internet. Looks to be an excellent idea if you don't need a full size shear. Has anyone used one of these (not just dewalt)? How did it hold up? I research things a lot before I spend money.

Eh, they aren't horrible, but you can get a nice used kett or the like and it is much more sturdy to use.

I wasn't interested in them until I found one that was rated for 18g. That made me skeptical

I've never used one myself, but the contractor that built a new pole barn for me this past summer used a similar device. I believe it was a Malco brand device and attached to his Milwaukee rechargeable drill (but it looked as if it would probably fit any drill). He used it for all the steel roofing and steel siding work and it seemed to work fine. Said he had been using if for several years and was quite satisfied with its performance.

Rather than using a full drill, this looks like it would have been a perfect application for the Black+Decker Matrix / Craftsman Bolt-On system. :dunno:
