Sheathing a garage. 4x8 or smaler sheets.

I notice that they have the standard 4x8 sheets and smaller ones for a less price.

Has anyone sheethed with the smaller ones? Any drawbacks to to it? I am considering them to they will not be too heavy since I will be doing it myself.

The benefit of using the larger full size sheets of anything is their ability to afford greater strength by having fewer seams to contend with. Contractors like them because they save time on the job, rather than sheathing a wall, roof or floor in a piece meal fashion.
If you have learned how to properly handle full sheets, they are not all that difficult to work with, even in 3/4" thickness. It all comes down to just doing what you can do.

always use 4x8 unless a lot of waste. use tools to help with the weight and positioning. for the roof I just saw a guy on you tube that used a ladder and a couple wheels and a harbor freight winch to pull the sheets up by himself. I have used handles screwed to the plywood towards the end of a day when I'm getting tired. think they were kids playset handles. allowed me to move it around a little easier. use a ledger to sit the walls on if needed.
