So I am looking to add another shed to my back yard solely for keeping garden tools, etc.

I am going to build the one below.

Probably a bit smaller.... 4 x 4 or 5 x5 ......

My question is about the roof pitch.... how would I determine that from this picture alone?

So if the width is 4' or 5' (mostly likely going to be 5') how do you frame it out.... I saw a picture that is 18/12 and thinking it may be more like that.

Well a 12/18 is like 56 degree's. That's steep. :).

It's hard to tell from the other picture if it's steeper then that. Framing it isn't any different then framing any other roof. If you're going to match that one, then just match all the angles. Just remember the obvious. The wider you go, the taller the peak will be.
