What heater is recommended for a 6x9m shed? Lined with R2 batts and probably after a fan heater to heat where I'm working rather than the whole shed.

also is there a way to insulate the area over the roller door?

Bunnings had these industrial style on sale for around $50-00 something dollars a couple of years ago and I have been watching for them again.

I've seen folks in Australia (online) using Chinese diesel vehicle heaters in their sheds. Most are 2kW or 5kW. They are cost effective if you are prepared to keep an eye on servicing and correct warm up and shut down. Especially good if you already use kerosene or diesel for anything else like house heater or farm vehicle. I have one in my motorhome. There are some good forums and FB groups about them.
If you want very localised heat just where you work, an infrared heater is good; heats objects but not the air.

Look a Rinnai's line of heaters. They have an excellent line of LP direct vents and vent frees to choose from and they are well supported in AU.
