I’m trying to determine if there is any ventilation at the top of my shed. I plan on using this as a three season room in NJ and, as a novice, I am unsure the next steps.I apologize if my vocabulary is off! My plan was to install baffles to allow the air flow from the soffit to the ridge peak, cover with rockwool, and finish with some kind of tongue and grove. I’d probably stain the wood that would be exposed. However, the black between the opening feels like pretty tight foam, and I’m not putting in any ventilation/cutting through the metal roof to do this. I’m not looking to spray foam it either, but if it is totally closed at the peak, is that my only option if I want to insulate the ceiling?
