Shed is coming Soon.. updated PICS

So I ordered a shed from a local amish resaler, 14x24 not a high ceiling just a cheapy for storage and lawn tools, mowers, etc...

Another GJ member gave me the link to the company, so far they are so good...

Its scheduled for Tuesday morning, and I just did the sight work today, lol I own 2 back hoes , 2 skid steers, and a mini X, but to get my brain in work mode anymore is like pulling teeth..

I also had to drop 4 trees tow of which were doubles, they were all over 55 ft, and some hung close to my other garage. So 7 hours, 5 yards of fill, and 14 tons of stone later, its as ready as I have the patience to get it...

I lazered it and got the area where the shed is going to +-1" on 25ft is good enough with 3/4" stone...

My wife had no idea I bought a shed and had no idea what I was doing, I went and got the tri axle picked up the trailer and brought home a back hoe, she didn't think much of it till she heard the chainsaws, lol.. BUT she didnt ask what I was doing until I came back in the house and it was all done and level...

I told her I got a shed for over there and she said "what color?" god bless her..

Sorry Tommy, the last one is getting married in September, lol...

Having a bit more storage is going to be a big plus, I have a separate building but its loaded with equipment, and my attached garage is full of projects and motorcycles...

So I need somewhere I can put the lawn mowers, and yard stuffs... It will be handy for sure, I also think I am going to put my compressor out there for the attached garage, When I trench the electric I am going to throw an air line in there too, get all that noise out of my attached garage. My other building is actually going to be used by my brother for a business he is starting, I have a company coming to make an offer on the heavy equipment I have left from selling my business...

I am actually excited about this shed arriving, I can tell not working is getting to my head, the smallest things get me anxious...

That's OK. I'm married anyway. I have a little 12x8 shed that I love. I wish it was bigger, but that was the largest allowed without getting a permit.

Enjoy your new space!

SO here she is, these guys dropped it in 30 minuntes start to finish, very professional, I don't care if it cost me 5 times as much as building it myself would have cost me, it was SO easy, it was worth it... From now on the only way I will build a shed is if they can't get one in there for some reason...

The delivery trailer was amazing, I have to say I am impressed.

14x24 with a 9x7 garage door, on the right side, ramps, cupola, weather vane, 4ft loft, 8" on center floor supports, and e rated windows was $6K, I can not complain about that..

looks nice with a nice price as well

how about some inside pics?

enjoy you'll be able to put a lot of yard stuff in there or even a bike or 2 to free up space to work on others in your main garage.

Very nice.. I have a 12x20 high barn on order which I'm waiting on also. Looks like a nice cheaper solution to hold all of the kids stuff, mowers, etc.

I almost went for a high model, but we did some photo shopping and I wasnt crazy about how it looked there, and the extra height/attic space would do me no good since I just need floor space, 2 snow blowers, 2 push mowers, a large zero turn, 30+hp diesel tractor, garden tools, chainsaws, weedwackers, bags of deer feed, soil, kids bikes, etc etc etc.. I am pretty sure this will fill up fast, but it fit in that spot, and it was cheap...

The high roof units are really nice though, they had a 14x20 high roof for $12K, you could store a lot of stuff in that loft, it had a pull down stair case, very well built, it looked like a little house, I almost bought it but like I said in m spot is didn't go, plus it was vinyl sided and I may wan to paint this or hardy board over it someday..

See this is like the high roof, putting it sideways just didn't look right and my shed is at the end of a driveway so, the roof slope just didnt look right when I photoshopped it in. They look really nice head on, but I also wanted the garage door entering from the yard not the driveway.

Congrats on your new shed..

Understand completely. I opted for the Gambrel roof style. It will have with an 8ft loft, but I may add another 4 foot to it. I have a ton of stuff that I need to store up there, I still have a bunch of junk in the detached Garage at the house I rent out that I never brought over after we moved.

It sounds like you'll have it packed up nicely once you're done.

Well I started moving stuff into it, I am excited about this little shed, my wife came home and it was in, she just laughed and said it looked cute.. Works for me, I knew I could keep it so I started loading it up, I am going to take my time, filling it up, a little each day, don't want to go too fast because I will ahve nothing to do after its done...

heres some pics of whats in there so far, I put a compressor I had in there Nothing crazy just a develbis 6.5hp, but its runs awesome, and it starts super nice no matter the temperature hot or cold it runs awesome...
I still have a my other honda snow blower {trac machine}, my exmark 32" push mower, my exmark lazer z and my exmark pioneer to put in there, plus a bunch of other stuff, this things is going to be full to the door, I have some 2x3 racks in another house I own in the basement, I am going to go grab them and throw them on the wall in here too...
I hung up some lawn tools, I am going to get a rack for all the hand tools, I hung my 20 foot little giant a frame, and I put a few things on the loft... This is fun...

I am going to run the electric and air line next week, I have a ditch witch trencher so it wont take 10 minute to do the trench, then after thats all done I have a lot of lawn work to do...
