I was very lucky had 7 of my mates come to my place to out in place. Easy with many hands. Commission is 8L of hydraulic oil, bleeding and a sparky.

That lawn looks like it is ready for the Royals to come over and play croquet. Big step up from the first picture.

Impressive shop. Fill it up. Put it to work and document it all with lots and lots of pictures. We like pictures.

Moving along nicely.

Chemset the hoist with Ramset REO502.

Waiting for the epoxy to go off so that I can torque the nuts.

Some of the shed inhabitants have moved back after being stored at a mate's place.

I've got too many projects!

@Sean Buck - the grass cel is a locally marketed product. We did some compacted road base mix then grass cell on top followed by topsoil. It works a treat.
Had my mates ute and trailer with the hoist on it - the photo 2 posts before was taken 2 days after the hoist drop off. Grass looks great and no sinking. Highly recommended.

This is just too nice. How are you finding the temperature in the shed on hot days?

@Kenfab - The mower and the scooter are getting a full resto. All I need is time and money.
@anth - it is fairly hot still but not as hot as my neighbour's with no insulation. I reckon with a portable swampy everything will be quite ok. On the hunt for a combustion heater atm for the shed. Plan to use the waste heat from the flue in a hydronic system for the office under the mezzanine.

Mezzanine is taking shape

Yes a power outlet at the apex near the edge of the mez floor, so you can set up a small 240v 200kg electric winch to lift the awkward pieces up. Especially if you are out there by yourself. Waiting for hernia surgery to heal is not fun. It took me three times to wake up.
My mez is in the trusses and is not the easiest to negotiate, yours look like it will be nice and open.
Don't forget to insulate the office, try putting a section of brick wall in as a heat bank. yeah I know it sounds green, but it works, you can still put plaster either side to hide it. we used metal wall studs etc and the common concrete bricks stacked dry snug in the frame.

Hello guys and girls,

There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Hopefully will have the 22mm Structafloor in by next week.

@ Kenfab, I'm near the port.

Got around to cleaning up the wiring in the shed.

From this

To this

I used some 70mm wide strips of sheetmetal that my shed builder made for me. He said I was crazy - its only a shed he said.

Cut to size ready to put into the c channel

I put it in on an angle and then let it drop to the returns of the C.
Holds the wires in and its all neat and tidy

I love my OCD.

Neat and tidy, I like it.

A couple of tips:

1. make sure you have no sharp edges that will cut into the cables.
2. just check if you have backing plates behind the outlets to prevent the single insulated cable touch exposed metal and prevent inadvertent contact from behind.

Regards

Sorry but have to chime in here for the people with a disability,

Much better, although I'll raise you an OCD point and bring attention to the switch on the 15 Amp outlet being at a different level to the 10amp double.
This is so the visually impaired know that they are plugging into the correct receptacle before they start welding, LOL

This made me go out and check my outlets...bla. bla, they are all doubles and line up nicely.

Been a bit busy with work so shed has not really progressed.
The shed population is steadily rising.

Love your attention to detail. It'd satisfy my perfectionism for sure! Jealous of the cruiser too.
You've got me worried about the insulbreak though.. Looking to use it myself. It seems pretty pricey at nz$450 retail per roll for insulbreak80 so wanting to know it works!
When you say still gets hot.. is that the air temp inside a closed shed or can you still feel the radiant heat coming through the roof even though doors are open and cooler air is circulating?
Did you use the 6.5 or 8mm stuff?
Would you say it was worth it?
much appreciated on your feedback. keep up the top notch work :rocker:

Work has been crazy busy this year. 1st time since end of Apr ive had a Sat off.
Apologies for the late reply to all.
@Road Mark, i used the 8mm stuff, cant feel any radiant heat from the roof at all. Used a thermal imager and temps are around 30deg cooler on insulated parts compared to non insulated. I def recommend it. will try to post some thermal pics up.
@others, thanks for the compliments.

Will have time off in Dec and Jan so keep and eye out for updates.
