Shed size Dilemma

So I was all pumped up about to order my new shed but then had a thought. Should I build my dream shed at not my dream house? But then again I might end up staying here for another 10 years.

Option 1) build my dream shed 9x7x3.6m (2 work bays with room for hoist +1 workshop)

Option 2) build a standard 6x7 2 car garage. No change of a hoist. Put the left over money towards my car loan. Smash my home loan for a few years then buy another house.

Is Option 3) to build nothing, apply every available dollar to all your debt, then build your dream house AND your dream shop/shed after you've paid everything off?

Definitely this. While you're making car payments, don't buy anything!

My current garage is nearly ready to fall down. A secure Double garage will add value to the property for both sales and also rental.

It maybe 5years before id be in a position to buy a second property.

I'm just not sure if I should but my projects and dreams on hold for so long. I may not be on this earth in 5-10years time.

How about buy a shipping container, use it as a shop.
Buy a lift, install it outside with a cover over it.

Move all of the above to the new place when you get it

Build your shop. Use it. THEN build your new dream shop after you figure out what is not so dreamy about this one...:)

Apologies for spelling, Auto correct doesn't work for titles on my browser for some reason. I didn't do well in English at school lol. Maths and science where my forte.

The wheelie bin shows aprox where the front corner of the new building would be.

Proposed building, side door and end roller door will be swapped.

Work bench I made out of scraps, had to buy mdf for the top and screws, cost around $65 to make

Shelfs cost was only screws, so about $5

Edit, this is what the car looks like after sitting in the shed for 2 days..... Yes it gets dirtier then if it was outside.

Okay so I may have come to a conclusion on advise of my Mother. I could move to a surposed 'better' house in a 'better' neibourhood and be miserable. Where I am I can have loud cars, make noise, do a driveway burnout or have a party without neibours complaining or calling the cops. The house still needs work, needs a kitchen/bathroom/laundry and rewiring but atleast I can easily afford repayments and have some freedoms here. So I think I'm staying and building the damn workshop ! Later I can buy a second invesent property if I'm in that position.

When work starts I'll post up a members thread.

Thanks to the ideas and input guys, getting some great ideas and inspiration from GJ.
