Has anyone built a shed with a swing set attached the the side? I'm planning on building a shed in the spring and want to build a simple swing set for the kids off the side of it. Looking for some ideas and pictures.

nope but I built a swing set. one of those wooden tower ones with swing set off of it. you can probably get some ideas from store plans. the top where the swings hang was a 4x6. you could do just the swing part attached to the garage however that set up had two heavy duty brackets that used to attach it via carriage bolts on the tower side and another one for the a frame legs on the other. whatever you do remember they outgrow it around 14. having mine freestanding I was able to resell it and the buyer came and unbolted it and took it away

X-brace the wall with flat metal strapping to prevent racking under the oscillating loads, or use a heavy plywood system with a lot of nails tied into every stud to do the same.

I coated every nut and bolt fastener with anti-seize on my brother's swing set assembly. Just trying to think ahead to someday the kids will be grown and it will be time for disassembly. Rather than having to use the Metabo and cut every single rusted one apart.
