One of my pawn shop finds today was two sets (SAE/Metric) of Steffield Week-Ender Series hey keys - for a $1. While I suspect they are not made in the USA, they do have a really nice feel to them. I like the feel over both my craftsman and snap-on sets. They weigh 6 ounces (despite having an aluminum frame) compared to my snap-on AW9 equivalent at 4.2 ounces. I also like that they are open in the middle, versus having an area where dirt/grime/oil can build up - as has been the case with every other folding hex key set I've owned.

Does anybody have experience with this set? They are chromed which I suspect may be an issue over time with hex keys.

The local big box store has dozens of these "Sheffield" tools like knives and "Crescent" wrenches with fake (?) wood handles. I dont like them :D
