Hi all,

WHF is moving into a new place and I am helping her. The kitchen is freshly remodeled and there was no shelf liner anywhere before this evening, I knocked through a couple rolls of 12" and got most of the high cabinets done.

The low cabinets and drawers are an issue however. Some of the drawers and cabinet bottoms are larger than 18" in both directions. That's all I can seem to find...

She likes the stuff that looks like toolbox drawer liner, the open weave kind, but wants it in taupe color. Does anyone make such in preferably a 24" or wider width? Or am I going to have to tell her to **** it up and that the larger drawers/cabinet bottoms are going to have to be black, because the only way I know to get the material she wants is to buy actual toolbox drawer liner?

thanks for any advice... if you have an e.g. Amazon link that'd be great because the movers are dropping everything off tomorrow so she'll be looking to fill up those bottom cabinets within the next few days.

Once in place with items installed, shelf liner can barely be seen, especially when the door is closed. My preference is for durability and wash-ability for cleaning purposes. I went to HD and found a suitable kitchen floor covering and purchased what was needed and it's worked well for years, especially for heavy items such as pots, pans and canned goods.

Plastic carpet protector would be wide enough. If you are dead set on using something.

Yoga mats. It's the only "toobox liner" I can find locally that's wide enough for the 18"+ drawers that all of my toolboxes have.

Go to the rug department at WallyWorld and look for rug nonskid pads. Looks exactly like toolbox drawer lining and probably comes in taupe and wide widths

Thank you! Now that you've said that, I remember seeing the stuff and it's close enough to the same color I think that will meet with design department approval. Gonna have to see if I can get some after work today as the kitchen desperately needs to be unpacked.

And for the rest of yunz, WHF = What's Her Face
